Splattered Words is an experimental film exploring the roots of - collaboration, relationships, drama, and conflict - all with the help of paint.

Some have called this project a "live-action Pollock piece." Others have called it "an idea so crazy it just might work."

There was never a script. Instead, there was an outline of a conflict between two actors and a page of paint notes.

Through the use of listening and reacting, our paint team worked with our two actors during a one day shoot with only three takes.

It's a project that has some structure, but room for happy accidents. The project has very technical aspects and is also incredibly organic.

We used six colors (red, orange, green, blue, purple and yellow) to help convey the words and emotions between our two actors. Our actors became both  artists and pieces of art The experience becomes the process and the final piece in real time.

Splattered Words was shot with seven cameras going at once ( 1 Phantom Flex, 3 Sony FS700s, 1 Sony FS100, 1 RED, and 1 Go Pro).
