Carly Whitaker is a set decorator living in Brooklyn.

She is a member of IATSE Local 52, and has worked on films / tv shows as a set decorator. Her credits include - The Exorcism (NY Unit), Saint X (NY Unit), One December Night, and The Endgame.

In addition, Carly has also worked as an assistant set decorator. Some projects include - Poker Face, The Trial of the Chicago 7, American Horror Story: Delicate, and Only Murders in the Building.

Recently, Carly explored floral design as well as textile design with natural dyes. She has taken courses at the Flower School - New York, and has a presence on Instagram / Etsy as Oxford Greene.

 

In addition, Carly has delved into directing. She created a short film called Splattered Words. It is a piece that combines her backgrounds in -- theater, performance art, visual art, design, and film. 

 

Carly is a graduate of Bennington College where she studied set design. At Bennington, she designed sets for productions including -- Passage (an original puppet operetta), Sweet Storm (world premiere), and The Holy Ghostly. She also designed the sets for fashion shows and created installations.
