Carly Whitaker is a set decorator living in Brooklyn.

She is a member of IATSE Local 52, and has worked on films / tv shows as a set decorator. Her credits include - Saint X (NY Unit), One December Night, and The Endgame.

In addition, Carly has also worked as an assistant set decorator. Some projects include - Poker Face, The Trial of the Chicago 7, and American Horror Story.

Recently, Carly explored floral design as well as textile design with natural dyes. She has taken courses at the Flower School - New York, and has a presence on Instagram / Etsy as Oxford Greene.

 

In addition, Carly has delved into directing. She created a short film called Splattered Words. It is a piece that combines her backgrounds in -- theater, performance art, visual art, design, and film. 

 

Carly is a graduate of Bennington College where she studied set design. At Bennington, she designed sets for productions including -- Passage (an original puppet operetta), Sweet Storm (world premiere), and The Holy Ghostly. She also designed the sets for fashion shows and created installations.
