Carly Whitaker is an artist living in Brooklyn. Currently, she is focusing on set decoration and textile design.

Over the past few years Carly has worked on various films and television shows as an assistant set decorator. Projects include - The Enemy WithinEmergence, For Life, and The Trial of the Chicago 7.

Recently, Carly explored floral design. She has participated in several internships and has been taking courses at the Flower School - New York. She has a presence on Instagram and Etsy as Oxford Greene.


In addition, Carly has delved into directing. She created a short film called Splattered Words. It is a piece that combines her backgrounds in -- theater, performance art, visual art, design, and film. 


Carly is a graduate of Bennington College where she studied set design. At Bennington, she designed sets for productions including -- Passage (an original puppet operetta), Sweet Storm (world premiere), The Holy Ghostly, and Uncle Vanya. She also designed the sets for fashion shows and created installations.
